Welcome to T.Mo.Z. photography, home of the photography of Thomas Zapfe. Born in 1964 in Flint Michigan I grew up in Montrose where I started taking photos, around the 10th grade when my mother purchased a Minolta 35 mm film camera, since I was using her camera more than she, I received a new Minolta X-GM camera for Christmas that year. It has been a love affair ever since. Taking correspondence courses from New York Institute of Photography and spending time with local photographers and hanging out in different camera shops I learned much of my technique and it helped polish my eye. Currently I find myself doing more portrait work and some wedding photography which I enjoy but my true love is nature, and landscape photography.
